I know this is not adoption related, but I have to share this with you all.
I was to meet some friends tonight, and after a quick shower and drying my hair I went to put on some makeup. I've been using the same makeup for about 2 yrs. You know the kind. It comes in a tube and it comes out white but when you apply it to your face, the color changes to blend in with your natural coloring. I squirt some of the makeup onto my fingers and began applying it to my face. After a few moments I glanced up in the mirror, and my eyes almost bugged out. I could not believe what I saw. I immediately yelled for my daughter to come, and while I waited for her.......I turned to grab a wash cloth out of the linen cabinet so my back was to her. As I turned I said "I need your honest opinion...........................

Do you think I need to go a shade lighter?"
My daughter gasped, then burst out laughing and said "what did you do". I said "Nothing..........I just put on my makeup on as I usually do but it malfunctioned". My face literally turned black. She was busting a gut laughing at me and said "oh wait............I have to get a picture of this". She was laughing so hard she could not hold the camera still. I'm just glad that I didn't apply my makeup and run out the door without looking at myself, like I sometimes do. Can you imagine the looks I'd have gotten? WHEW My daughter thinks I should apply for the position of the next new Covergirl.
